Falls are common in older adults and can have a significant impact on confidence, independence, and quality of life. A fall may happen for a variety of reasons and can sometimes lead to injury, reduced mobility, or a fear of falling again. Even when no injury occurs, people may become less active afterwards, which can increase weakness and future falls risk.
